    Look at the recent PPVs:

    Cotto/Canelo - ~900K PPVs, ~$29M purses for headliners*
    Golovkin/Lemieux - ~150K PPVs, $3.5m purses for headliners
Floyd/Berto - ~450K PPVs, $36M purses. Basically, Floyd got another huge payday because May/Pac broke all records.

Look at the PPV revenue generated, 500K PPVs @ $70 each = 35M. The networks usually take half, so that leaves 17.5m for the fighters, promoters etc. Pac/Bradley purses are 24M. If you add in gate revenue, promotional sales, etc, and subtract arena/ancillary costs, the event most likely cost Arum a bit of his own money.

*Cotto was guaranteed 10M with PPV share, Canelo 6.5M. Per the article, Cotto's PPV share for 1.5m PPV buys would have pushed him to 30M, so to approximate, I'm prorating the 900K actual buys vs. 1.5m in the article
Oh I know it's bad for Arum and idgaf I'm saying it's good that Manny was able to get $500k vs a guy nobody really wanted to see him fight again. IDGAF if Arum took a hit. He's been robbing fighters his whole career. Manny and Floyd did such huge numbers that people think 800k+ PPV's is the norm. What Manny and Floyd were able to do will never be done again in the smaller weight classes.

It didn't make no 500k. At best the real numbers will be in the 300,000s in my opinion.

Nobody wanted to see a third fight between these two and the lack of buzz was noticeable. Many people didn't even know the fight was this weekend. Arum should have stopped his in-house nonsense and gone with Amir Khan instead.

That seems about right.. Seriously what is bob thinking? It was a fight with not much at stake that he barely promoted.. didnt even have a single 24/7 episode. Cmon Bob.

IMO, this is pretty good considering.

I'm surprised it's that high tbh.
