It hurts your theory that more people cared about Pac's retirement fignt than Floyd's.

What do you expect, Floyds formula for success was building an image as the bad guy. Pacquiao was the good guy that fought for his country and his people to make them proud.

I wonder why one guy is missed, and one isn't.

You used to claim to be a Pacquiao fan but that's just ridiculous. Everything you post is anti Pacquiao. You even predicted Rios would knock him out with a jab. You always say Pacquiao is finished and pick against him every time. Now you are upset that people are too nice to Pacquiao and giving him too much love. Mayweather gets plenty of love and has millions of very devoted fans and many fans on this board. He will be alright. He has hundreds of millions to keep him happy. What the hell are you talking about saying Pacquiao got a gift over Bradley? You and Floyd are about the only two people on the planet who think Bradley won that fight. Bradley and Atlas both said Pacquiao won and said he fought a great fight. That's the same Bradley and Atlas who unbelievably thought Bradley won the first fight so they are very bias. But they both thought Pacquiao won this fight just like the rest of the world does except you and Mayweather. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao will go down in history as great fighters so don't worry about it. Mayweather will probably be remember as the greater fighter because he never lost a fight including the Pacquiao fight. In spite of the gay comments many people tend to like Pacquiao because in general he seems like a nice friendly person.

So how many PPV's you think Pacquiao-Bradley 3 sold? Surely that will tell you everything you need to know. I will make a bet with you that Mayweather-Berto sold more.

I would have thought not disclosing his injury and going in not 100 percent in a ppv that had the majority of people rooting for him and even booing Floyd when he got announced the winner, would leave a sour taste, I know this Pac Bradley fight is not going to do good numbers on ppv, but whats baffling me is when I checked on social media both times nobody seemed to care if Floyd retired after Berto, you had some really vulgar messages saying good riddance you cherry picker, or good boxing is better with out Floyd he is boring, wife beater, etc.

But when the news was on not one called him a legendary fighter that will be Missed, now Pac after his anti gay comments and the bad performance against Floyd, all of a sudden he gets a gift over Bradley, and he has the audience standing ovation crying, rooting and missing him, social media blew up saying a true legend, you will be missed Manny, the majority of comments were positive and the news outlets on TV were saying one of the greatest has just retired, a true legend in Manny Pacquiao the peoples champ.

This makes me wonder are the Floyd fans just psyching themselves they told me that Floyd is more loved than Manny and will be missed when he retires? I remember they would say nobody will miss Manny, everyone is mad at manny after he hid his shoulder injury, and with the anti gay comments, they said 10 years from now when both are retired Floyd will be loved like Ali, and Pacquiao will not be loved or remembered.

But its strange because every great athlete is missed, look at Kobe this man is getting ovations, Jeter, Ali, even Tyson was missed and praised when he retired.

But Floyd fights berto and nobody gave two chits, nobody, its pretty messed up and makes me feel bad for Floyd, this guy just beat Pacquiao and retired unbeaten but instead you got people saying good riddance.

I spoke with a few of the Floyd fans and they told me that its racism, they said this just shows it they wanted people to hate Pacquiao after the shoulder injury and after the anti gay comments but are mad that the majority of people didn't turn their back on him. That his fans stayed true, they told me if that were Floyd nobody would forgive him if he said that about gays.

They claim its racism, but I don't know if its racism or maybe social skills? Floyd doesnt know how to win people over he is pretty much antisocial and awkward, I believe Floyds biggest mistake was crying and whining, people hate whiners who complain and act envious or jealous. So they will hate you automatically, doesnt have much to do with race, you dont ever see Pacquiao crying racism, or saying nobody loves me why does he get more loe than him, he just laughs and shows really no hurt from negative comments, I think that is what people respect in a man. If Floyd talked trash like Ali but had Alis masculinity and charisma nobody would really hate him, Floyd doesn't know his personality is just not appealing he has no charm to him.

So I think it comes down to personality more than race, since Pacquiao is a foreigner and non white.

Is it because of Image? Floyd looks selfish and materialistic, while Pacquiao gives back to his people and fights in an exciting style looking for KO's and doesn't boast or brag throwing money around?

What do you guys think why Pacquiao is receiving more love than Floyd in retirement? Is it because Floyd is just unlikable or is it racial?
              i almost missed the bolded

Neither of them are going to get the adulation that Kobe is getting. However, Floyd will be at the Staples Center for Kobe's last game and Kobe will show him lots of love. Manny, not so much.

Although I agree with you to an extent at least African Americans are recognized somehow whether its positive or negative. Mexican Americans get no love in history, look at Tom Flores and Jim Plunket, Flores coached 2 superbowl winning Raider teams, and is yet to be in the hall of fame, that black dude that coached the Colts wins 1 and is inducted purely on being a minority winning. Manning is a HOF inductee regardless if he won last superbowl or not, it took Plunket like 30 years. And you know how annoying it is to hear Mexicans/Mexican Americans arent athletic on boxing forums when our Olympic boxing teams are usually a combination of Chicanos and African Americans? Point is others have it just as hard and F all Donald Trump supporters...

Floyd didn't really win the first fight. Nothing was concluded that night.

Here's Floyd reaction, not sure of winning. Before the official cards were announced.

Go to 8:40 on this video, Floyd says to Floyd senior after the fight, " no matter what I love you." Shows signs he felt he was going to lose.

If you mean the USA gives no love to the Mexicans then perhaps that's a complicated one. Mexicans, meaning Mexico, have their own world of sports to and are active in the Olympics. I know they're recognized in soccer or football as the Euro's call it. Mexican fans, meaning its nation are content with what they have.

Now if you mean immigrants or vast generations of Mexican Americans then that's different. Canelo is a star because he had Mexican fans and Mexican American fans. Of course it ain't no NFL, NBA, or MLB hype, but it's got Champion boxers. I don't know of any Mexican-American stars aside outside of boxing.

Trump is an idiot. He's been friends with Chavez Sr for what? So he could be a backstabber and pretend to be cool because he fought in Trump's casino in NJ?

What about all the Mexicans and Mexican Americans in boxing. Dude's an idiot. Along with all the posters on this forum supporting that clown.
