If Bayless is the ref, I won't buy it.

Yes he got a real mediocre jab and right hand to top it off.

It'd be like watching Floyd fight a handicap

I literally don't envision anything being different. Both are old and past their prime. Floyd will do just enough to win his rounds and Manny will land a few good, clean punches for the .gif masters to go crazy about.

          Another sparring/chess match that I'll score 7-5 or 8-4

He was very passive as far as talks about a rematch, he really did not push for it. I thought he would make a legit call out to Mayweather but that did not happen

He earns a lot of money again and the fight will likely be even more tougher for Floyd this time.

He loses in exactly the same way with probably the same points score.

Manny has always struggled with high quality elusive counter punchers and Mayweather is the best at this.

                  Pointless rematch. Forgone conclusion.

What I don't understand from their original fight.

In round 4 manny lands his best punch of the night on Floyd and the latter ends up on the ropes. manny unleashes flurries on Floyd.

Then he pauses and backs up. No attempt to pin Floyd to the ropes.

Ward praised it as an intelligent move to avoid gassing out, but that answer isn't good enough for me.

His follow up shots weren't landing, and Manny isn't the sort of fighter that "pins" someone on the ropes the way Maidana did.
