I have been against this fight from the moment it was mentioned, even though I still feel Cotto should fight an opponent closer to hi size, Marquez is to small (Mayweather knocked him down with a straight). However, I will back this fight after seeing the support Canelo is getting for fighting Khan, and all the people who actually want to see GGG vs Brook. Fhuck it, Marquez never used his legs anyway.

I believe Marquez previosly mentioned that he will only fight him at 147. I am just not shocked at all that they both rejected Vargas. The kid is hungry and has age to his advantage.

I've heard these rumors about this fight a few months ago and since then been waiting for it. Marquez is one of the best aggressive counter punchers in the sport imo and one of my favorite. Fight of these two aggressive technicians would be awesome even though they have passed their primes but doesn't matter. Gold is Gold.
I've just seen Alvado fight of Marq and wasn't so much different than Diaz fights or Pac IV..
