It's a good win for Joshua but he's starting to really annoy me lately. He was humble in victory on Fight Night against Martin but he's now starting to show he's gonna walk through all of the Heavyweight competitors and champions like it's nothing. There isn't anyway he's ready for the likes for Fury, Haye etc...

Even Briggs, who had a great chin, would give him big troubles more than Whyte. AJ should fight mid-level competition if he wants to keep his title. Fight the guys like Nagy, Chisora, Charr etc...

He's definitely in my top 10 and close to world level but I think there is a big jump between elite and world. Fury and Klitschko are elite and proven, skilled boxers. Povetkin is a solid pro and world level as is Wilder, Ortiz and Haye but they are behind the top 2. I think guys like Joshua, Parker, Takam, Pulev are another level down. Not world level fighters, yet - in the case of Joshua and Parker. Joshua still has a long way to go before beating the world level fighters, no where near ready for Fury or Klitschko. I see Wilder, Ortiz, Haye and Povetkin all beating him badly right now. I need to see him in with a top 10 before I can make any judgement on him but fighting Fury this year would be a huge mistake Imo

Within a year sounds reasonable. AJ is Tyson reincarnated. I've never been this excited for the HW division and I have Fury to thank for that.

Haye, Fury, Klit all beat him at the moment imo. he needs AT LEAST a year and some tougher fights before getting in with any of them.

A fantastic test for Joshua would be somebody like Pulev.

Time to get back to the humble persona. This guy isn't THE greatest like he thinks he is. Ortiz would rip him apart, Fury or Wlad would baffle him for 12 rounds, Haye would drop and stop him. Stay underground and keep working. We'll tell you when you can come out of hiding and gloat.

He will need to step up already and not soon. Because 1 round fights will not help him and prepare him for dogfights against the likes of wilder and fury.
He needs an established name in next fight
