Nobody is denying what Roy Jones said. Everybody knows that Sr. was concerned about judges and crowds but that doesn't mean Sr. didn't think Floyd was losing either and it wasn't like Floyd was winning at that point anyway. This is why Sr. not only was talking about scoring but also about how to get Floyd to deal with a southpaw like Pacquiao, as shown in the video you posted.
When Floyd asked his father if he was losing, his father clearly said "No. I ain't saying that you're losing."

It can't be any more clear than that, and I can point you to this dialogue for proof.

I know what he said but it doesn't mean he meant it in the way you think he did.

Sooooo...we shouldn't take what he said? We should take what you believe he meant when he stated it?

Wasn't that the whole point anyway; what he meant, not what he said?

Your problem is we have we he said, and we have him talking about what he meant. There's nothing left to say about it.

These Pac die hard fans are more annoying than ggg haters. It's the same thing every thread and yet you guys argue against it.

I also have what he said...TWICE.

The thing is, for it to come out of his mouth twice like that, it must have meant that he really did feel that Floyd was losing. The way I see it is that Sr. didn't want Floyd to get worried and that's why he changed his tone the first time. The second time he literally says that Floyd was losing because of the way he was fighting. And before you say that's like what he meant, this was right after Floyd lost two rounds in a row so obviously it wasn't just the crowd or the judges at this point.

Like I said, upload the video. I don't see him ever saying he was losing. I see him saying he doesn't think he is losing.

My intention is not to continue going back and forth about this when it has been clarified by the source itself, and also by a professional boxer/boxing analyst during the very broadcast. Of course, you are welcome to believe what you want.

Yes, he lost both the 6th and 7th round. At that point, it was truly clear he wasn't winning.

Like I said, I'm not debating over what they said. I'm looking beyond that.

I don't upload videos so all I can say is find somebody with the HBO version. The one I got is the one they re-aired for the Canelo-Kirkland fight.

All three judges gave round 7 to Mayweather.

Steve Farhood gave round 7 to Mayweather.

Al Berstein gave round 7 to Mayweather.

                      Let it go, homie.
