Seeing him cry, to me is someone who not only thinks boxing is a job that he has to cover, but his passion in life. Watching the greats of this game is a treat for him.

    Cheers to you Jim!

Damn straight I'd shed a tear as well If I got to see someone fight in person as great as an Ali, Pacquiao, Leonard finally calling time on their career.

Jim lampley was one of the first to witness pacquiao's greatness since his first fight in the us with ledwaba to the last fight bradley , so i'm not surprised if he was emotional he witnessed pac's ups and downs and he will never see a fighter in his lifetime like pac again.

Pac was and is the most exciting fan friendly ATG fighter of this generation.

I think it's cool actually. He has been covering boxing for 30+ years and still gets emotional over stuff, cool to see its not just a job to him.

The way Pacquiao punches men in the face is just so ****ing beautiful man! I just want to cry a river!

Guilt can be hard when you're broadcasting emotional moments while at the same time thanking god for betting on Floyd every time!

That was my favorite Lamply moment. Talking about Marquez being the number three guy, and smashing PAC to sleep. I am just glad he survived. Ay Dios Mio!!!

Jhonny is laughing at you... He can't wait to see another silly thread you start, about PAC.

Lamply was in tears when he talked about the injustice suffered by JMM, after he..... you know.... Knocked PAC cold... Face first... I think Lamply said it was more dramatic than the Paul Williams vs Martinez KO!

KO of the decade. Iconic. When the dust settled.... Your God was more dead than alive. How did that make you feel..

When Salvador Sanchez died in a car accident, I wept. He was my idol. Luckily, I never seen him get KTFO6
