Povetkin is what, 5th/6th top guy in a division? and he would be the best name on Wilder's resume, its the equivalent Martin Murray Win who was similarly rated when he fought GGG. That being said I like Wilder, and with the Povetkin win i think he is going to move close to the P4P rankings, its just hard to put anyone in the top P4P list especially when you aren't even considered the best in your division (in most cases). P4P lists are based on resume and skill, on Resume alone GGG hovers around the top 10 P4P, however its his skill level that he has shown that pushes him on many lists to the top 5 P4P. If GGG struggled like Wilder with fighters on similar level as Szpilka and Molina who are comparable to Rosado/Curtis/Monroe type of opponents who barely won a round vs. GGG at any point (except in your eyes because apparently Monroe figured out GGG).
The Point is P4P is skill based comparison to see if everyone was equal in weight then who would be the best, GGG has shown more than Wilder, but Wilder is still young and i wouldn't be surprised if he moves up there especially after he fixes a few of his weaknesses.Last edited by Irony123; 04-12-2016, 11:24 AM.Comment

GGG landed 52% of his shots in that round, it was one of his most successful rounds in that fight, just because Monroe decided to engage more and as a result also landed more but clearly paid for it doesn't constitute as "figured out"
