Ive seen a lot of Pacquiao fights considering hes beat a lot of my favorite fighters but I have never noticed him use that technique (switch step) like he did on Saturday. A lot of these Eastern Europeans utilize that technique to negate movement which was really smart considering Bradley has quick feet. The only problem with that technique is it could leave you off balance and open to a counter hook which is exactly how Pac got stunned. Either way, great gameplan. Did anyone else notice this?

I wonder if this technique will be used more, the art of cutting off the ring is all about lost. Not a fan of the Eastern Euros but that brings back some competition in boxing...

Dont really know where to get a vid or gif but I know there a video of GGG floating around NSB and youtube as to the technique I am talking about, Itll look a little different from how ggg does it because Mannys a southpaw but basically your back leg comes forward with your power hand taking away your opponents distance. Its the hardest punch a fighter can throw, its just defensively flawed. Manny was doin it a lot the 2 rds before Bradley stunned him. It was very smart because Tim creates a lot of distance his upper body movement and has quick feet. Personally I think it was the key to victory, Atlas and Bradley were not expecting it, you could tell because Tim seemed a little flustered those rounds Manny used it a lot.
