Comments Thread For: Last Move for Pacquiao? - BoxingScene Pound-for-Pound Update

Not much has changed since the last update in January 2016 but the possibilities are many. 2016 got off a to a rough start but matters are picking up in April. Several members of the list, and several more potential arrivals, will be in the ring if they haven't been already.

Cliff, regarding Golovkin, what do you mean by..... "Depending on how one counts his early WBA ‘regular’ title defenses" ?

Surely, that does not come down to " opinion " ?

You, as a boxing historian, know exactly what " counts " when it comes to the WBA and their bull**** interim titles.

It is impossible to count those fights as legitimate defences, so why not simply come out and say it?

Why insinuate that Golovkin is close to surpassing Hopkins record, when he clearly is not?

Why insinuate that Pacquiao became a lineal welterweight champ by beating Bradley, when he clearly did not?

You are somewhat of an authority.....If you don't keep it real then nobody else will either.
