This fairy tale fight is not happening. Arum started throwing Canelo's name during the promo for the Bradley fight for 2 reasons. 1. Canelo is the new Floyd where literally EVERY fighter and their promoter name drops him. 2. The Bradley fight lacked in buzz and he needed to throw out well the winner of this fight that will likely flop in PPV sales is a front runner to fight Canelo to try and get people last minute to buy saturday's PPV.

I don't buy it and weeks ago Oscar laughed saying a Pacman fight sailed away a long time ago. The weight difference is too wide and Canelo is at a stage where he is the cash cow and doesn't need to drain himself to fight anyone. So the fight will only happen at Canelo's weight. And Manny is not suicidal he will never go up to 154/155. No doubt in my mind Arum would throw Manny to the wolves to get killed by Canelo but I don't think the Manny camp will ever go up to 154 they didn't in his prime years ago for Margarito who was washed up at the time but you think they give the green light for a young beast like Canelo?

I love these assumptions..JMM and Pacquaio have always been nothing less than amicable with each other with one exception being Marquez's book tour about "beating Pacquaio" other than that these two guys have been mightily respectful and have spoken very highly of each other. This ain't a floyd and manny situation where there is that level of contempt.

i agreed that canelo was brought up to hype pac/bradley 3, but dont be fooled by what oscar said about the ship has sailed on canelo/pac. at this point canelo doesnt really need manny so of course oscar is gonna brush it off. but if canelo somehow struggle or loses to khan u can bet oscar will be pushing for canelo/pac. oscar will only make this fight if he needs to bring canelo's name back up if canelo loses or struggle bad, notice how when he lost to floyd, oscar was all for canelo/pac.

It would end very bad for manny. Watch the bradley fight this weekend. There was a shot in the early rounds I think an uppercut that literally lifted Manny's feet off the ground. Then in the later rounds Bradley hit Manny with a shot that hurt him and sent him halfway across the ring into the ropes. Now keep in mind Bradley has only 13 career KO's. Now if you subtract the first 2 years of his pro when fought club fighters with double digit losses he's only got 3KO's from 2007-2016 when he started fighting world class fighters at 140 and 147. Meaning he has no power at 140 or 147 yet you see him lifting and sending Manny flying across the ropes. Think what Canelo would do to him when he hits him with those same shots.

It's a joke... As Marquez and Nacho have always been critical of Canelo (doesn't mean they don't like him) and the Pac situation just out of rivalry not just as fighters but country. I don't think anyone actually hates Pacquiao. Maybe Malignaggi... But maybe nobody else

yup agreed, marquez and pac has always shown eachother respect. i dont think marquez has anything against manny because even after the decisions that manny got over him, manny never went on to trash marquez or anything so why would marquez have anything against pac. i would say marquez dislike canelo more than he would pac.
