No Michael Buffer last night

I know he was in London. But it was a little weird not seeing him at a Pac fight. I think this was only the second time Buffer did not do a Pac fight since Pac became a main event fighter in the US (the other time was Pac-Mosley when it was on Showtime so Lennon Jr. was the guy). But yeah, either Buffer was offered bigger money to do the Joshua fight or Arum wants to build Lupe Contreras.

Arum was probably assuming on low revenues from this fight, in spite of being contractually bound to Pacquiao's $20 million pursue -- must cut costs wherever possible.

Eddie Hearn was not going to leave anything out for Joshua's world title fight. He wanted it to be as big and important as possible, that meant paying whatever cash was needed to get Buffer over.

Unfortunately, that left the Pac fight with a woeful replacement. He was useless.
