Small-minded of Hearn to schedule Joshua's first defence, likely against an overmatched can, for the same night as Klitschko-Fury II. I'd much rather watch the latter.

I hate this, the last thing British boxing needs at this point is a Cold War of sorts.

From Sky's perspective, you actually want people to see Fury vs. Klitschko II, your market needs to be invested in boxing at all levels. Joshua could fight both of these guys next potentially, and even if he doesn't, it still stirs the discussion that keeps people interested in the game.

I pray this doesn't end up like in Vegas a year or so ago, where we had Khan vs. Alexander and Bradley vs. Chaves both on the same night in Vegas at the same time.

I can see what you are saying, but i reckon this scheduling will increase the rivalry between Fury and Joshua and ensure their names are always mentioned together in the media. British boxing fans need the rivalry/grudge match aspect to make it a really big fight.

Now you can't see the IBF ranking this morning look like we going to get an ideal of who could be next... if you see guys like Johann Duhaupas, Malik Scott, Chris Arreola get on the list you know is one of those guys

We'll just haveta see now won't we?

Joshua is the bigger draw, but it still doesn't make business sense to go head to head with it as you're splitting the audience and limiting your potential revenue.

I think Hearn was just on the wind up, he won't go head to head with Fury v Klitschko, when he can put it on a few weeks later and have a larger audience.

Chuck Martin is out of shape and not very talented more a bum

Joshua might be the best looking boxing prospect in 50 years. Chuck Martin might be the worst. Chuck was a disgrace to America and to boxing. Chuck Martin should be driving a fork lift or sweeping a back room or painting in the ****** or hauling trash off the back of a dump truck. If anyone should be wearing a crown and a robe into the ring it is Joshua not the dingy unkept wild ungroomed Chuck out of Luck Martin the ****** not groomed vagrant. Martin looked flea ridden and like Martin slept in a hole.

to be honest i think boxnation is such a marginal channel that it would barely make a dent on sky's viewing figures. the only people who would see the fury fight are the people already subscribed to boxnation

it's just a spiteful and unnecessary move by hearn

Most of the pubs round my way that show boxing have boxnation and Sky... I doubt they will pay for Joshua PPV over just putting the Fury vs Wlad fight on

Lots of people watch boxing in pubs

This will defo hurt their revenue
