Comments Thread For: Pacquiao-Bradley III: Pre-Fight Report Card

By Cliff Rold - It's been almost eighteen years since Manny Pacquiao won his first world title. It's been over a dozen since he defeated Marco Antonio Barrera to announce his potential for true greatness. That's all a long time ago. Manny Pacquiao isn't a raw, power-punching flyweight anymore. He's not a lightning fast featherweight killer. He's a 37-year old future hall of famer entering the ring off an alleged injury and defeat in the richest fight ever staged nearly a year ago.

I've already bought the PPV and watch the fight with my mexican friends. This fight is better than any other fights in the horizon.

Let's add that Pacquiao's rhythm is a huge pain for Bradley. It's not a coincidence that in both fights Bradley left the ring with injured ankles or calf.

Knowing this, I'm very impressed that I haven't seen Bradley working on balance.

Slotting Pac and Bradley equal in defense is a joke. Pacquiao is and always has been a sucker for the straight right. He ate right jabs and counters all night from TBE, Marquez put him to sleep with an overhand right, and Bradley was clocking him with haymaker rights all through the second fight.

Bradley's defense is significantly better than Pacquiao, especially now.

Pacquiao's speed and intangibles are his only weapons against Desert Storm.

Chin is the only quality equal on both fighters. If we see Bradley stop Manny, then obviously becomes null and void.
