Maybe because its made up? I was talking to a couple filo's the other day and they didn't even know when the fight was because there has been nothing about it on Filipino news. Both were boxing fans (as most filo's are). Can anyone tell me if this story is full of **** ? And if the media coverage in the philippines is actully keeping a lid on things?

Noone is stopping them from lacing up some gloves and becoming boxing stars. Its not unfair, that is Manny's career. Most of the other Filipino politicians were born with a silver spoon, while Manny was fighting for $12 pesos to feed his family and selling doughnuts in the skreets.

Like always those cowards are complaining about his fame. Deal with it.

Headline should read Pacquuao's political opponents cry like p*ss*es.

You'd think with all the love pacquiao gets in his homeland, his political rivals would just be like **** it he can be senator (or whatever he's running for). The bright side for them is if he loses it'll probably work for their advantage
