Pretty lame response since you've had plenty of "emotional" posts yourself. This is boxing, we all have fighters we may like more than others but at the end of the day I'm a fan of the sport first & foremost and stuff like this totally kills the sport and is a black eye (creating own weight classes, fans making excuses & accepting ducking as a smart business model, etc etc etc).

It's actually pretty simple. Wade wasn't a choice if GGG wanted to keep his newly won title. As is GGG not a choice if Canelo wants to keep his.

GGG fans know if not for Camelo and GBP, there would be no mismatches and we'd be soon watching Canelo v ggg. Yet, Ginger lied to his fans, he wasn't ready, and likely won't be for some time.

GGG hasn't been a MW for 16 years. True, Canelo started lower weight, at the age of 15. But his true professional career is built upon 154, oftentimes fighting 147ers. A fact he's still doing today.

GGG went the Amatuers route, started out at WW too. He was a WW at age 19.

I know it all looks black and white to you, but the facts here are GGG and Canelo walk into ring around same size. Is Canelo gonna run?
