GGG can make 155, he can even make 154. But at the expense of losing some muscle. GGG at 155 would be weighin 163 or 164 fight night. He's not a weight drainer. Canelo at 155 goes to 175 the next day. So it would not be fair for GGG. GGG is willing to move down to 154 for a fight with a JMW, not a fight with a MW that manages to come down to 155.

Everyone calm down. The GGG vs Canelo fight will happen. They are basically the same size. Canelo just has to put a little more weight on in his wevos and we'll have a legit middleweight matchup.
