163 is actually a normal 30-day weight for most JMWs... canelo normally weights 167 even for his jmw fights... same goes for most jmw fighters...

GGG can make 155, he can even make 154. But at the expense of losing some muscle. GGG at 155 would be weighin 163 or 164 fight night. He's not a weight drainer. Canelo at 155 goes to 175 the next day. So it would not be fair for GGG. GGG is willing to move down to 154 for a fight with a JMW, not a fight with a MW that manages to come down to 155.
