Can anyone tell me why a German network would offer so much money for a non German title fight

Same reason some of these countries buy Mayweather and Pacquiao fights

Prior to being signed with world of boxing, a Russian promotion, Povetkin was signed to a German promotion and won his title under them. He was a big star there and I imagine he still is. I'm guessing there's a lot of interest in watching him challenge for the title

            Povetkin was a Sauerland fighter.
And no, he never really was a star here.
RTL is the TV partner of Klitschko and Huck. Only a future scenario involving them would make sense for RTL bidding millions of dollars.

My guess is Wilder wins and Joshua wins. I wish next would be Wilder vs Joshua. Joshua by KO if that's the scenario.
