i am being lazy don't feel like watching the entire fight... though based on taht KO it could have been an exciting fight.

Look I understand Soliman is very awkward and unorthodox those guys are alway hard to get to but the trick is to take it to them as Mundine did and you can get onto his chin sitting back giving Sam room to is not the way to fight him .

But regardless of all that Wade is not a very good fighter and thats what guys are in arms about , people are just sick of poor opposition , GGG is hyped to the level of Hagler and better but continues to fight B graders and there is not a single elite fighter on his resume , its not about titles its about the guy that holds it and not GGGs fault but the MW division is very weak atm and the better guys are at 168 .

And to tell you truth at 168 Ward would school GGG , at 160 I only see Jacobs and Canelo being competitive .

plenty of talented/world class fighters struggled at one point or another vs. mediocre opponent.

Ward won a gold medal and showed promise. Wade hasn't looked good vs. anyone. It wasn't Soliman's style. He just isn't that good. There is the slight possibility that he fights down to his level of opposition but 18 fights into your career that's nothing more than an excuse.

Tbf Dashon Johnson is a Boone type journeyman. He just dropped and almost stopped the much bigger, talented Jesse Hart. Brinson is not bad either, he was seconds from beating Khytrov on points

are they? how come he keeps doing great ticket sales? i think what you meant is you are sick of it. most people are well informed and know the best are ducking him. most people simply ignore the few loud and persistent voices saying he is figthing bums and needs to move up because they know ward and froch already ducked him(and don't bring up wards 50-50 i'll fight you in 15 months offer im talking realistic things) and they also know the 168 division isn't a hotbed for talent or popular fighters. most people know these few loud voices are simply nitpicking and are not beign realistic(sign to fight ward while mandatory to canelo hmmm). these same few voices expect ggg to take terrible deals just to prove something while at the same time defending guys who refuse to fight unless they have everything in their favor.

Shouldn't you be upset with Canelo for requiring the extension and Saunders for turning down the fight and Jacobs for not even attempting to have a mandatory? We only have this fight because these guys don't want to fight Golovkin now. Ward is at 175 pounds now time to move on.

fair enough, Wade doesn't strike me as a great challange, i could be wrong. And it is a shame that a guy as tallented as GGG is wasting his prime fighting mandatories and fighting no names, guys who he is favored 20/1+ to win against and its annoying. I want him to fight guys like Jacobs and Canelo... in fact i've always said that his biggest challange is Jacobs... and the biggest name is Canelo... at middleweight of course. However to determine and truelly see how good he is he would need to move up to SMW and fight Degale or Ward (at SMW)... fighting Ward at LHW would be a huge mountain to climb because Ward is a big guy, he was big for SMW and now he is probably at full strenght at LHW where he doesn't have to cut as much weight and he can develop his muscles and power, he might not have the size advantage over guys in that division but he also won't have to weaken himself to any extend like he might have had to do at SMW. i am rambling now but the point is that GGG needs those names... getting all the belts is good but you have limited life shelf in this sport and fighting mandatories for multiple years will not do him any favors, will not do us any favors.

true... either way i hope that which ever way the cookie crumbles (i.e. 1st round or 10th round) come fight night that GGG gets the names he needs to get (from Canelo, BJS, Daneil Jacobs or Degale)...

then again... Wade can shock the world and all this hype talk will be over.

I wouldn't pay attention to guys like Kev, they're very dishonest. Soliman only list because if the torn ACL, he was winning quite comfortably until the injury and fought 7 more rounds in just one leg. Soliman is the real deal and no shame on Wade for looking bad against him.

None of the knockdowns in that fight were caused by punches. Soliman just couldn't stand up straight.

Im no fan of Canelo and I can see the fight picking shenanigans from him just as I can see them from GGG .

Sauders is no star elite fighter neither is Jacobs the MW division is soft atm , 168 is where GGG will be tested and thats all guys wanna see and even thats not a strong division now Ward left it , and while you are on Ward dont forget he only went to 175 because GGG refused to fight him , the CW is ducking BS .
B graders like Gennady has fought dont cut in my mind when people are saying he is better than Hagler what a load of BS , Ive seen it my whole life that fans are impressed with power and koes , they love Butterbean type fights and dont like pure skill , my guess is they dont understand skill .
