The nerve of some people, LOL!
I have no problem with anything at the actual fight.

Trying to watch a fight on screen while surrounded by morons, not so much.

Did they say "Canada's biggest boxing star David Lemeuix"? Not Bute, Pascal or Stevenson, but the guy who was going to fight on FS1? Oh yeah this fight is no where near big enough to warrant theater. Canelo/Cotto definitely, but this naw.

The only problem with that is it's getting harder and harder to find boxing PPV fights at bars. UFC PPV fights I can find easily but not Boxing. Boxing fans are usually older, married, and don't do the bar scene as much. UFC fans are usually young, obnoxious, and go out in packs to bars.

It's none of them MC, most Canadian's have never heard of any of them as they only box on PPV and never on basic cable and hardly ever fight outside of Montreal. The most well known Canadian boxer still is George Chuvalo he can be seen ringside at many amateur and pro events and does tons of fundraising for charities...Lennox Lewis is probably second, the guys mentioned in the article are only very well known in Quebec, here in Toronto where I live these guys could walk into any bar or restaurant and hardly no one would notice or recognize them.

Yeah its because bars have to pay a huge fee to air boxing ppv. I believe whatever that bar full capacity is they have to pay each head count. I think somehow UFC has a way around this. It's why most bars don't even ask for a cover charge when they air ppv. Where bars always have one for boxing ppvs if they order it. Movie theaters is a nice alternative of you can't find a bar that is willing to pony up the money for the ppv

I didn't know that??? Your right. Their is always a cover charge on Boxing and rarely ever on UFC. Funny I never really paid that much attention to it until you brought it up.

That's crazy. I mean it makes it even worse. Now they're just blatantly lying in order to build promotion for a fight that has little to no interest.
