SO sad to hear this, Paul was coming off his one loss, and training with the Porters, now he has f***ed it all up. Now he is 40 and beating up pensioners, just a sad person.Comment

Very true, at least in America. Unfortunately I think it will always be something of an issue due to the violent nature of the sport and the background of it's participants.Boxers have always had problems with women.
This though is just pure drunken trash; drinking some old woman's beer, putting her in a headlock and throwing her to the ground at a bar he's already been kicked out of from past incidents. Classic alcoholic trash.Comment

there's a difference between something happening every once in a while and something happening all the damn timeTo ask Larry if he sees Mayweather as '****** trash thug' is to miss the point.
The better question is (which, IMO, is why he posted it in irony) where are all the folks who come in here every dayum day screaming such titles at every 'coincidental list' fighter that's committed similar acts, those who make post after post lumping such individual acts as representing some sort of 'cultural' issue or community 'pathology', now suddenly don't seem to have the same level of venom/outage nor willingness to denounce 'others'.
and White people generally don't back thugs, whereas Blacks romanticize thuggery and make it part of their culture (hip-hop)Comment

Women are the only ones dumb enough to provoke a boxer. Most guys will walk away if they see a professional boxer being a **** at a bar (or shoot them). A girl will step to his face, get lit up, and than cry "WHY?" Guys have a pecking order mentality and wont step to someone they think will beat their ass (unless their manhood is put on blast) so quick. Women will.Last edited by Shogunofharlem1; 04-07-2016, 08:05 PM.Comment

Yeah, White folks never get the point on this oneTo ask Larry if he sees Mayweather as '****** trash thug' is to miss the point.

That's not the point.
What he's saying is is that when it's Black fighters people blame it on the ENTIRE Black community or make it pathological about the Black community, but when it's a White boxer it's just a "bad egg"
Bull****.
White people romance Billy the Kid, Al Capone, John Gotti, Bonnie & Clyde, John Dillinger, and have shows like Breaking Bad and the Sopranos, which are considered the two greatest shows of all-time, even though they're about White gangsterdom, but people don't hold it against Whites when they do that.Comment

I'd be inclined to agree regarding black and/or hispanic women. They go wacko in or near a potential fight/confrontation/etc. But the only white females I've seen like that are the ignorant trailer trash types.Women are the only ones dumb enough to provoke a boxer.
