NO ONE makes Canelo do catchweights. He does that catchweight thing by himself and is also prepared to use it as an excuse if he loses.

He and his team offered Floyd a 150 catchweight, foolishly thinking that Floyd was scared of Canelo because of what the media said. Floyd said yeah I accept, but don't drain yourself so much, 152lbs is okay.

Let us not forget that Canelo won the title he was unifying with Floyd at a 150lbs catchweight to begin with, and weighed in at 153lbs in the fight he had before Floyd, and then complained he was drained for losing 1 measly pound.

Fast forward to two years later, after fighting at 155lbs catchweight for two years, he complained before the Cotto fight that he wanted the fight at 156lbs and that Cotto is the one who wanted it at 155lbs. So there he was, already setting up the excuse before the fight in case he lose.

What is even more disgusting however is the fact he then went on to demand a 155lbs catchweight for Golovkin after he was given the decision against Cotto.

You can't excuse this ****. Wants a higher catchweight (156) for the smaller guy and then asks for smaller one (155) for the bigger guy.

There is no bigger ***** than Canelo in world boxing, there never was and there never will.

But yea you're right I don't see Canelo giving up anything for anyone now.

Pac is still a big draw/name, Canelo probably should be prepared to drop a couple of lb's for that fight considering that Pac is not a huge welter..... just like Golovkin should for Canelo..... but nothing will come of this.
JUST LIKE GOlOVKIN SHOULD FOR CANELO?

Dumbest ***** I ever heard. Canelo is bigger than Golovkin and Pac is MUCH smaller than Canelo. There is no comparison here.

True. Pacquaio is a very small welterweight.

Just leave the fight alone. Floyd fought him at 152 but no rehydration clause, Canelo rejected it. People still talk down about that fight even though Canelo was 165 and Floyd was 150, Floyd gets little credit from his detractors and weighs the same as Pac on fight night. If Pac fights Canelo with a rehydration clause and weight drains him, I can't imagine he'd get much more credit than Floyd did. But it's a big fight and big money involved that's the only positive of it for either fighter.

              Some interesting points you make.

Yes, Canelo is a little b1tch until he stops trying to drain bigger fighters and stops forcing Caneloweight on his opponents. A bigger p*ssy in the sport has rarely been seen.

Pacquaio might get more credit because most people believe Canelo has improved his fighting game since he faced Mayweather. Also, almost everyone thinks Pacquaio is way past his best and Canelo is in or approaching his prime. Pacquaio is smaller than Mayweather. Pac sometimes weighs less than 146 on fight night while Mayweather is from 150 to 152 typically. Some people say Mayweather hasn't reported his weight on fight night for quite a few of his fights. Not sure if that is true or not though.
