    It's been a while since Eddie Chambers competed in a notable bout in America, but now he has an opponent to change that. The Philadelphia native will fight Gerald Washington on April 30 in a 10-round heavyweight bout. This will be Chambers' first fight against a recognizable foe since a 2013 defeat to Thabo Mchunu at cruiserweight.

                  When Chambers was over in the UK working with team Fury he got lots of sparring in with big & tall HWs. Those rounds & training camps in the gym with Tyson & Hughie probably did him good. He was in solid shape when he fought those few Euro-trialhorses. This is a tough fight for both but especially Washington. He may have a tough time hitting Eddie. Eddie has experience with the big boys not only in the gym but against Klitschko & Dimitrenko. I would have to pick Chambers as the favourite but there is the lack of stiff competition the last 3-4 years for Eddie so that has to be taken into account & could play a factor into the fight. Chambers will be the best fighter Washington has ever faced. Really interesting matchup in my opinion...
