  • Prime Roy Jones Jr vs Gerald McClellan - Who Win

We all know what Nigel Benn did to McClellan, as unfortunate as it was, but it's widely believe that Roy Jones Jr ducked McClellan because he thought it was too difficult a fight. Who do you think would have won in a fight between the same prime version of Gerald McClellan that Nigel Benn nearly killed, versus the prime Roy Jones Jr?

      RJJ would wreck McClellan.

Funnily enough McClellan actually beat RJJ as an amateur, how I don't know...

Nigel was hypnotised that night and used a lot of illegal moves: hitting behind the head. He was counted out in round 1, as well. RJJ beats Benn and McClellan EASILY. McClellan & Benn flounder after round 5 and get hit all night.

There was something wrong with McClellan that had nothing to do with Benn. Gerald was easily whupping his ass until Benn headbutted him.

Would certainly give the nod to Roy, but G-Man could put anyone to sleep. So he would always have that great equalizer. Sad we will never get to know just how good he could of been.

Yeah I do know what Nigel did to him, he headbutted, hit behind the head used his elbows & actually should have been counted out. Terrible official...

I would have to pick the Gerald over Roy. There is a reason these two did not meet at middlewgt...

                    Roy was too fast.

Regarding the Benn fight, it appeared to me that there was something wrong with Gerald even before the fight.
