Why do Puerto ricans try to seperate themselves from "african-americans" yet they are products of the transatlantic slave trade and pre-colombian expeditions by africans to the americas....genetic and dna analysis support this as well....they are essentially "black" most of them just like the so called african americans in the usa....they have african, european, and native american ancestry.

I think you're confusing nationality with race.
Being Puerto Rican simply means you're from Puerto Rico. Your race can vary.

genetically some of them have more african ancestry than "african americans"

some people look at their nationality as their race when every one in south america, central, north america are products of people coming over here and the last hundreds of years, transatlantic slave trade

I had a girl friend do her genealogy and she was shocked she had sub saharan african than me. She considered her self spanish or just PR. She is puerto rican and would get upset when I called her black....proof is in the pudding....most people dont even know their roots.

He talks about how blacks like handouts and welfare. Its funny coming from a Puerto Rican because 40 percent of Puerto Ricans receive welfare. I want to know why he is so concerned with "BLACKS".

The key word in all you wrote here is some of them.

This might be why when asked many PR's identify as white. Not black.

white people really have the whole world brain washed....history is ....HIS-STORY...the conquering people. Im native american man and when its thanksgiving and black history month it sickens me how this country basically venerating and glorifying taking land from indigenous people....african history did not start in this country in the slave trade...we were the navigators for the europeans so obviously we've been here before them...also its 3 currents off the coast of africa that can get you to the states in less than a month....without a paddle or sails......hell even christopher columbus acknowledged africans were here before him
