Arum has been throwing Canelo's name around the days leading up to Manny's fight with Bradley for one reason. To name drop Canelo as a potential future opponent and try to boost PPV sales which all projections point to be a complete flop with Bradley. Nobody is falling for this. Canelo is the new Mayweather where Arum name drops him before fights to try and drum up attention. Manny is never going to fight Canelo, Oscar already said the ship has sailed on that fight. Canelo is not going to be drained for any fight and Manny is way to small to move up to 155 and frankly he will get killed by Canelo.

Arum looks desperate and can't find Manny any opponents even though 140 and 147 is deep with fighters but most are in Haymon's camp which Arum don't want to work with and Manny wants no part of Crawford the best in house fighter Top Rank has. That's how you end up with a third fight with Bradley and Arum name dropping Canelo who is way to big for Manny.
