For comparison sake, in 2016 Bellator 151 card did 768,000 viewers, Bellator 150 did 733,000 viewers, Bellator 149 did 2M viewers,

Keep in mind that Bellator is a 2nd rate promotional company, that doesn't have anywhere near the star power of UFC nor does it have any current fighters that have the name recognition of Broner or even Amir Khan.

If you're having troubles competing with a 2nd rate mma promotional company, that's not good.

Spike brushed off the poor ratings for PBC last year as trying to introduce boxing to its audience. But how much more are they going to have to endure before they pull the plug? Those ratings have to pick up big time this year.

The Broner fight was a step in the right direction, they need more of those types of fights to generate consistent ratings.

u forgot to mention that kovalev vs pascal or example peaked at 1.179. Not everyone even gets spike and a lot of people get the fights on delay. quit trying to down play it this was a dam good number no matter how you try its not going to fit the just ok ratings narrative they are dam good. just look at all the boxing writers even the ones who dont like pbc or broner are admitting they are dam good numbers
