Only as a step up before a world title but it wouldn't be for the world title because Briggs has not boxed for yonks....and that was before Joshua accepted the Martin fight......it doesn't mean he will defend against him if Joshua wins next week....2 completely different scenarios my friend...Biggs was the step up before a world title

I suspect we see Joshua vs Haye inside of a year if both keep winning.

But yea I wouldn't be surprised if Haye fights Briggs in the meantime. Haye seems like he's just having bs fights that no one cares about. At least Briggs is a bs fight that'll get bigger attention cuz Briggs loves to talk these days.

Briggs is old but in shape with a punch, who is Haye 'fighting' gijkilufgerybgfgh ...you tube him look where he holds his left hand ...near his knees!...To say that David is talking about chasing big fights and titles this is unacceptable.

I never liked David Gaye. I hope he does fight Briggs next because I believe Briggs would knock him out !
