Which is why Brock Lesnar got a HW title shot after going 1-1 in the UFC, 2-1 MMA.

You can't mention something that went down 8 years ago in a two decade old league & act like you just did some touchdown dance level comeback bro, but nice try. There is no debating that the UFC has improved over time & continues to improve on the well oiled machine it has become.

There is a solid argument Lesnar was a hype job that was thrown into the fire & who happened to come out on top & earn respect later.

But yea a 25lb jump is nuts for any boxer to consider let alone do. I can't think of any boxer in recent times whos made such a huge jump up in weight. I gave Mosley mad props for jumping 12lbs to fight Oscar back in the day.
His PPV numbers and Payday's have been exposed...Canelo/Floyd did way better than anything he has ever done... He's not even that big here and I live in Dublin, Ireland.

Connor was at no physical disadvantage and was in fact more muscular than Nate. The fact that Diaz had no time to train or get his cardio up speaks wonders to what a hype job McGregor was.
True, and smaller guys on fight night don't get a pass from fans for even a bad performance in which they win in, in boxing. Like for example Floyd and Pac. If these guys have an off night against a top 10 P4P fighter who is 10-15lbs heavier on fight night, and had a full training camp, you will never hear the end of it from fans. This guy McGregor was a top 3 P4P guy fighting a guy with 10 days notice and lost and you can see how apologetic fans are for him. That would not happen in boxing, boxing fans are brutal. Look at how they did Ward in the rbr thread for a comeback fight and fighting a guy with 282-27 am record, 17-0 pro record, good sized, well built LHW with good power.

McGregor entered the octagon at 169 for a fight at 170, he's usually 157 when he fights at 145.

                    People just make stuff up

Walking around at 170 when not training does not make you a 170 fighter.
