Frank Warren Slams Shannon Briggs: "Let's Go Champ?? He's Gone Champ! No License!"

Warren, perhaps showing genuine concern for a fighter, says that Briggs shouldn't be fighting and that he won't get a license to fight in the UK. He says that 44 year old Briggs should be protected and that 5 or 6 years ago they tried to get Briggs over to the UK for a fight but the British Board of Boxing Control denied him a license even then, so it's impossible he'll obtain a license now!

Frank would have a very different message if he still had a heavyweight under his banner. Let's go champ.

The most important lines start @5:33. And many on this site need to pay attention to someone in the business trying to educate those that DKSAB.

We need to frame that and put it up in the Boxing Hall of Fame.

And loved hearing Frank repeat what I said - Saunders specifically wants to fight Golovkin. Let's do that fight and see if Saunders is as good as he seems to be.

You need to complete the foreign boxer application form, and go through the sometimes arbitrary requirements. Depending on the results of the application process, a foreign boxer can be denied the right to fight in the UK - in other words be denied a "licence".
