In a way I do. I don't like broner either, but I think last night he finally realize what kind of person Floyd is and the whole tmt crew. It's like he saw a glimpse of what he has become and actually felt ashamed of it.

He just needs to shut up and not do interviews and take boxing seriously now. He needs a new trainer, someone like roach or John Jackson to increase his offensive side.

I think just about anyone can be a sympathetic character if you know their backstory or inner struggles.

Having said that at this point in Broner's career/life I think he's probably not even close to contending with his own backstory or inner struggles and will just ride things til the wheels fall off, as I suspect one should & usually does in this situation, and fans will react accordingly as most seem to be since his narrative is written and hasn't been altered very much yet despite his beef with Floyd.

He is boxing's foremost silver spoon fighter. No other fighter has done so little to earn so many opportunities. In that sense he is arguably the least sympathetic fighter in entire sport.
