Margarito only gets picked to win fights because he is strong, not skilled or talented, same as Castillo. They think he'll beat Mayweather because Castillo, is an extact mini mee of Margarito. He'll beat Cotto because his chin. Thats about it. But Margarito failed beating Santos twice, so hes just playing it safe now, fighting C adverage fighters in Welterweight. hatton wins this fight with relative ease, margarito has really long lanky arms, and once hatton gets inside of them he will have his way with slow margarito. of all the welters hatton beats margarito the worst, and there are a lot of them that will kick his ass.

Margarito has over powered guys 20 pounds heavier than him AT fight time. I find it very hard for anyone at 140 to be stronger,you would have to a freak of nature.

Rocky Marciano was 184lbs, he was more powerful than almost the entire HW division that averaged 200+lbs at the time.

Power is something you have or you dont. Of course weight is a key issue, but its not the only. Besides with Hattons broad shoulders he is built for more weight. If they fought they would both be at 147 and Hatton would have power and smarts over Margarito. Hatton is where he is in his division because of his power, its not going to decrease with 7lbs.

Why would he?

He wants to fight the best in the divison, Floyd Mayweather. Unless Mayweather retires and Baldo or Margarito become number one in the division Hatton doesn't need to fight them. Unless they are required to be beaten before Mayweather.
