Are American boxing fans allowed to like "Black" Fighters? Wtf...
What ever happened to nationalistic pride? I don't like Golovkin because it doesn't benefit me. And I don't like American trainers hyping a Kazakh causing drama towards an American fighter. That's my personal beef towards Team Golovkin. If they were more humble about things and didn't like a bunch of phags I wouldn't mind. I have been rooting for Andy Lee, Korobov, or Heiland to fight Lil'G because I want to see that Southpaw work. How does that translate to not liking white fighters?
Frankly, if Golovkin fought Froch or Chavez Jr. then I'll let the Brits or Mexicans worry about that and I'll criticize, but it's jack got to do with hating white fighters.
I think American boxing fans, second Brits, and then third Germans have the right to have mixed favorites because technically they're melting pot countries, same for Canadians...
When the Brits like Khan or Hamed do they hate "white" fighters in general? Makes no sense.
Get with it. And shame all you American girls that say its about race. lol. Your insecurities are weird, then again Trump voters are very open about their beliefs..

As a fighter GGG is entertaining, exciting and takes risks inside the ring. As a person he is humble (or at least comes off as that) and tries to unify the division. I don't give 2 ***s about his team, they can **** talk all day and **** on other fighters... i like Danny Garcia but hate his dad, doesn't mean i'll come on here and **** on Danny.

I don't like Ward's and Floyd's style of fighting (Floyd in later years) but that is preference of entertainment vs. race/nationality etc.

If they choose to praise Golovkin over everything then I have a right to criticize that agenda. I get it, America has a huge white population. Therefore sell the product, whether the fighter is non American. This is why I am pro PBC. It's more pure reflection of the sport.
anyways my point is, you can like one without ****ting on the other. A lot of fans on this website, whether american or not seem to choose one side or the other. Pro GGG seems to equal anti Ward. Pro Floyd is anti Paquio (and vise versa). And even though i would want one guy to win over the other had they met (in GGG vs. Ward) i dont really see the point of coming on here and ****ting on Ward.

Any one with an iota of intelligence knows GGG ducked Ward hard.
This thread is bs though, GGG has not an awful résumé in fact he has an awesome one but it isn't comparable to guys like Ward, Klitschko, PAC, Floyd or even Canelo in my opinion. He needs to get a fighter in the ring like Canelo and for that to happen he has to meet Canelo's demands as Canelo met Floyd's for instance.
Like it or not GGG is going to have to go to a weight he said he would surpass lower to for Floyd, no biggie he just needs to toe the line and understand he will never be considered great until he has proved it against an A level opponent, truth be told I actually believe GGG is a level above Canelo already but that is just my personal opinion I would however like to see Golovkin fighting guys he would be in a competitive fight against which clearly their is not a challenge at the current weight he campaigns at, boxing is a business though so I acknowledge he cares less about legacy than his bank balance.
If Golovkin wished to be accepted and widely regarded as an ATG he would have fought Ward when he had the chance I very much doubt Ward will be able to make any weight lower than 172-171 and realistically be competitive against Golovkin who has proven to be a concussive puncher at his fight weight of 170+ come fight night. Not that I care anyway we have Kovalev versus Ward to look forward to, two guys intent on establishing themselves as the true no.1 in the sport now Floyd has retired. Those guys are the real champs and will be considered better than GGG ever could be even in the event of a loss in November.
If triple G faces one of those guys in the future before he retires I'd give him props, I don't really see anyone at 168 right now better than GGG, now that Ward has moved up for the competitive fights it has left a vacuum GGG should be able to waltz into and fill easily.

I enjoy watching GGG but have begun to tire of the match making or more so the inability of his match makers to make competitive fights. I think around the time he fought Geale and destroyed him I realised then to see him in competitive fights he had to move up, all this bs with him hanging around the MW waiting on Cotto, Canelo or whoever else can give him in one fight what he has earnt collectively versus the likes of his last 5-10 opponents has become tiresome.
Wanna get rich ? Meet Canelo at 155, wanna make history and have a legacy truly great forget 160 clear out 168 and meet Ward or Kovalev in a catch weight at the weight you come in at against the 160 scrubs you've been facing to date, 170+
