Comments Thread For: De La Hoya To Arum: Canelo-Pacquiao Train Has Left The Station

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum told media members on Wednesday that he would entertain a future fight between Manny Pacquiao and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez - if the Filipino star would continue his career beyond a planned retirement bout next month with Timothy Bradley.

Hey De La Hoya, news flash buddy, everyone thinks that both you and Candela are jokes man. The fans, even the most hardcore Mexican fans think that your fighter wears fishnets like you do. Two chumps in a pod.

Now it's time to end the coke binge, wake up and realize that beating Khan means jack schit. If you hold a middleweight title, you fight middleweights at the middleweight division limit. Doing anything less is bitchmade.

Hope that Oscar stays true to this statement. After this fight he and his team need to concentrate on making a fight with GGG next if he beats Khan.

The only thing that would make this fight realistic in my opinion is if HBO offers 8 figures to fight Pac but I think the weight would make it impossible to make.

Fights against GGG, Billy Jo Saunders, and Jacobs (highly doubtful) are fights that need to be made next for Canelo.

Why is De La Hoya acting like Canelo is brave for fighting Amir Khan? Even if Pacquiao and Mayweather avoided a worthy opponent in Khan, they're ****ing welterweights who Canelo has a 15 to 20lb advantage over.
