Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner-Ashley Theophane: Next Up in The Lane

By Cliff Rold - In light of 140 lb. titlist Adrien Broner's latest outside the ring issues, which may or may not pan out to be a serious issue, this seems as good a time as any to point out some of the similarities between the sweet science and bowling. The activities themselves aren't really where the commonalities lie.

With 11 KOs in 46 fights, Theopane certainly isn't likely to KO Broner. But... with his experience & training in Mayweather's camp, he may be able to out box the little hoodlum.

Broner will outbox him and stop him. God knows i hate AB... but at 140 not many can beat him; the kid has skills. In a ideal world, AB would get his **** together ..and eventually fight Crawford. Great fight!

Broner is not a power puncher above 135. What he got is mental fitness. He's got confidence and treats his opponents like they're garbage.

You beat him by playing the same game he plays, treat him like garbage. Stand in there and trade with him until he backs out, runs, and gets trapped on the ropes. If you respect him like he's Hercules, then you better get out of the fight asap.

Who will disappear into anonymity first, Broner or Chavez jr?
