Lateral movement will be his top priority, imo. I think the jab will be used in various ways. The obvious pawing of the jab just to gauge the distance will be what he uses for most of the fight. If he establishes or even gets at a comfortable distance. The double jab(combination of) or triple jab will come to play. I can see him using the double jab in a upstairs/downstairs fashion if he gets off first.
If Killa uses his beautiful jab before Ward does, I see Andre working the check hook then bouncing back out of range before getting tagged with something huge. A big component, imo, is his ability to switch his stance and be effective. I think when Ward goes southpaw he might give Kov a little something he wasn't expecting. Especially if he occasionally throws a lead left hook or a jab upstairs with a left cross to the body or even chest.
That's really how I think Ward will fight him. Him going inside and tying up the bigger man is not a smart or safe gameplan if you ask me. Use his natural talent and better boxing ability and win with your IQ not with your physical attributes. So box, find your range, throw different looks and land the better, more telling punches. On defense, do not let yourself get caught on the ropes, bend at the waist and look for an opening to turn Kov or simply counter him and finishing with a jab.
