Could this keep the fight from going forward? If I were Wilder, I'd be very nervous and very su****ious of Povetkin refusing to use VADA.

Having a non-Russian organization conduct the testing is critical, considering that last year, the World Anti-Doping Agency suspended the Russian testing agency (RUSADA) for non-compliance with global anti-doping rules. WADA accused RUSADA of covering up cases of doping by Russian athletes, giving them advance knowledge of supposedly surprise tests and allowing banned athletes to continue competing.

Should Wilder refuse to participate in the fight unless Povetkin agrees to VADA testing as WBC requires?

Should the WBC strip Povetkin for refusing to comply with the WBC's new drug testing requirements?
You really need to post sources if you're going to make such claims.

NSB needs to delete these types of threads unless there is a source. Whether it's true or not isn't even my point either.

The WBC will let Povetkin avoid drug testing. 3% of the $7.15M purse is more important to them.

This is just the sort of excuse chicken legs wilder and his fanboys have been praying for. The sooner wilder can get back home fighting guys ranked outside the top 30 the better.

Only an idiot like you would think steroids are acceptable in boxing. Your ignorance never ceases to amaze me.

Won't be a problem, VADA allows fighters to delay testing until just a few weeks from the fight like they did with Golovkin.

Right...because no one ever discusses rumored fights, or stuff they heard in the gym, or what fights promoters are trying to make...

If everything had to be sourced, then this board would die.

Anyone who saw how Povetkin looked about a month back will understand why.
