True Canelos 155 demand is bogus but you let mayweather and paq do it. Should be banned. GGG ducking Ward will always haunt him would have been a super fight at 168 when Ward was healthy

      THIS ^^

      Especially the bold.

I haven't heard anybody else say that.

      catchweight's are completely unnecessary

If you NEED a catchweight, then.....

      1) ..... you NEED to fk off back to your own division

      2) ..... you NEED to dare-to-be-great, like many others have

3)..... the fight is not much more than an exhibition match, in which case, who fkn cares?

      Right, Golovkin fans ?

I told you all that manny-weight was a nasty precedent.

And, some shameless ignorant pacfans STILL defend manny-weight..... if fact, a couple of them only stop defending manny-weight to bash canelo-weight LMAO

Too late to cry about it now..... now we got the canelo-weight division.

And, Golovkin tried to create a 164lb Ward-division anyways, so fk him.

Yeah, that was 4 years ago.

I got a hole in one 3 years ago, doesn't make me the greatest golfer ever.

So Armstrong, Leonard and many, many more, never dared to be great?

It didn't make you the greatest golfer 4 years ago either.

Plenty of hackers get a hole-in-one.

Ward deserves a lot more respect than he is getting.

IF Ward beats Kovalev, the clowns who wrote him off because his previous accomplishments were " old ", are going to look pretty ******.

            Nobody will forget.

            Not in those fights, nope.

Neither of them rely on cw fights to be regarded as great.

Look, no one is saying Ward is a bad fighter, especially not me but him being labelled p4p right now is a joke. If he beats Kov, I'd put it straight, he would be p4p, no doubt. I'd had him a top 10 p4p before, why would I deny it to him now? I'm a boxing fan, not a boxer fan.

Oh and you do realise a large chunk of of Armstrongs greatness is based off his move up in weight...did you know some of those fights happened at catchweights? I'm sure you didn't.

You know, two very big fights in Lenard's career, the Hearns rematch and the Lalonde, double title match ups, were at catchweights. I'm sure you didn't know that either.

Try again...you're just as ****** as the guy in your av.

Eh. Golofkin could've fought him when he was @ 168.

And he's not ducking Kov, he just wants a tune up fight because legal issues have kept him out the ring for most of the past 4 years.

That's respect for Kovalev. NOT ducking.

He's not Canelo, who'll fight anybody BUT GGG

Well, it's not like he doesn't have the skills or the resume for it. The only thing holding him back was inactivity but he is active now so that excuse is out the door.

Ward was already the best in his division at 168. Did you forget? Now that he accomplished that he's trying to do it again in another weight class. Daring to be great.

3 years ago did you win a tournament consisting of six of the world's greatest golfers? Because that would be a more appropriate analogy for Ward than simply getting lucky one time on a single hole.

I hope he reaches the goal of #1. He will have paid the price with the long time off and by beating Kov, if he beats him, he earns the distinction of PFP#1.

And that's why he agrees he needs to beat Kovalev to achieve his goal. You guys just criticize and argue every nitpicking detail. Give it a rest.
