Great ratings. I'm actually shocked the Diaz fight did that well considering it's his first time on HBO. For a comparison Wilder did only 500K on Showtime just a month or 2 ago.
Those are great #s ward hanst been on hbo in like 2 years and it against test fight ...HE IRRELEVANT DOE ,WHO KNOWS HIM DOE
hater are still ganna complain
they cant use the actvity and nobody cares thing no more...people obviously care...8000 fans at the oracle and 1 million viewers say different. He even made new fans, my cousin and his wife thoroughly enjoyed his fight and my new homie jo jo...said they'll watch his next fight with me
nice. it's a shame that kovalev-ward can't be on regular HBO, as it would probably be able to reach near 2m live viewers that way, rather than the 300k or so who will pay for the PPV
Hope they bring more big fights to the Oracle. Crowd looked good on TV. They came early, they were loud and even got a few celebs to show up like the kid from Creed and Steph Curry. Great atmosphere. No clue why these promoters take these fighters to outside markets where you have a uninterested dead crowd who don't really care about any of the fighters. Keep more of these fights local
The average for the entire telecast isn't as simple as adding those numbers and dividing by 2 as there are 3 other segments; pre-fight, post-fight 1, and post-fight 2. Still, you can't add up all 5 segments and divide by 5 because each segment is a different time length.
HBO doesn't release the average for the entire telecast like PBC does so I don't know what the entire show really averaged.
If you add up all the segments its likely to be LOWER than 910k.
