It won't make a difference. If/when he loses, he and everyone will say it was a massive task anyway and he was a real underdog and it won't matter that he lost. And if he did win, his stock would be massive. but really he has nothing to lose, so you won't hear any less about him.

That's why he took the fight. A big payday nothing to lose in the long run. Good business but also a good way to avoid Brook. He would have actually made more money fighting Brook but if he loses that he's finished. Lose to Canelo and can still fight Brook. Good business/ducking.

Brook is still the same fighter that fought Carson Jones. Imagine what Canelo would do to Brook lol

Carson had Kell looking like a Zombie from the Walking Dead

Those type of grueling fights versus lesser fighters happen. It can happen to the greatest fighters.

What you don't want is fights like DSG/Prescott vs Khan, that could be damaging, along with suffering 9 total knock downs in your career to boot.

If King Khan somehow loses, which i very much doubt, although most people feel he will lose because of the size difference.

You'll still be hearing much more from him as he is set to face Danny Garcia at the end of the year

I don't know why so many people think Khan is such a good boxer. He proved he had superior boxing skills over just a hand full of top boxers like Judah, Malignaggi, Alexander, Kotelnyk. Against everyone else, he failed to look like a good boxer, DSG, Peterson, Maidana, Algieri, J. Diaz, Prescott. Neither of those performances were impressive at all. Canelo is the superior boxer and counter puncher.

tbh peterson was on roids, which helped him push through the fight in the later rounds.

khan went into the garcia fight not knowing who danny was, they watched no tapes on him, danny was virtually a nobody before that fight, khan thought it was a routine defense. although that fight should never have been stopped.

maidana, very few people look good against maidana, floyd looked pretty bad and he has the greatest defense of all times. khan looked bad for about 3 rounds, overall it was a solid performance

algieri fought with a purpose and under real guidance, trainer played a huge role in that fight, like it or not

diaz, khan was coming off a trainer change, unconfident, he was still fighting like he fought under roach, diaz was coming off a win against porter (yes it was a draw, but most of us know it was a win).

khan will always be a inconsistent boxer, he can go from having an amazing performance to a not so amazing performance...you never know which Khan will turn up. People on here said Devon vs Khan was a 50/50 fight, an it turned into a one sided shut out. On the flipside people on here said Khan vs Algieri was going to be a one sided fight and it turned into a 50/50 fight

                You never know with Khan...

Peterson on the best roids possible could not hurt a fly bro, he is an average fighter. Bradley, Ortiz, and Matthysee handled Peterson with relative ease. The Ortiz fight was supposedly a Draw but that was beyond me, I thought Ortiz beat him pretty clearly.

Peterson simply took the fight to Khan and Khan could not outbox him. Peterson can be tricky to outbox yes, but if you are an all around good boxer with different plans, you can out fight him. Khan's plan is plan A and that's it. Plan A is throw a lot of fast punches and try to box, if it fails, i'm ****ed.That's Khan in a nutshell. It was a success versus Paulie, Judah, Alexander, Kotelnyk, it failed otherwise.

I predict Khan's plan versus Canelo is to throw fast punches and try to box, if this fails and Canelo ends up being the superior boxer with better counterpunching skills, I see Khan having a defeated look and body language by the 6th round if he makes it that far which something tells me he probably will. Canelo is not a brawler, he prefers to box, which is the only thin Khan has going for him, that Canelo will try to box. If Canelo acts uncharacteristically and comes trying KO Khan hard in the first 3 rounds, it could be interesting to see if Khan survives that.

He blames his previous losses on not being inspired. Could be true, possibly underestimated some opponents and got caught off guard. It does seem he's only ever hurt when it's from a punch he never saw coming and when he's reckless. I'm fairly confident Khan can pull this off if he doesn't try to prove he can stand toe to toe with Canelo.

I love how anytime Khan is spoken about honestly, the retort is the same 'but remember that one time Kell Brook got tired' in a fight he still won.

Kell Brook beat Jones up and gassed, he then hired a new team of nutritionists and beat Jones up to a stoppage and in general looks like what he is, sensational.

Khan fought a bum and this happened in under a minute
