If Cotto had/has anything left in him he should have been able to get to Khan and stop him...He can be more aggressive than Canelo. If he were to fight Khan you can bet he'd be on the front foot all fight long forcing Khan to fight backwards.

Canelo and his trainers may make the mistake of trying to be the boxer/counterpuncher when they should just use his size and strength.

It's possible that fights happens though if Khan doesn't want to make 147 again...I think Brook might be interested in making a move to 154 soon also. eyes on Cotto/Brook/Khan if Canelo beats Khan.

Khan beats Cotto with relative ease.

Cotto is old now, he was matched up carefully in his recent fights, i was never sold on his resurgence, he has been washed up for a long time.

I'd also favor Brook and Thurman to beat Cotto

I think Cotto would KO Khan almost as quickly and easily as I think Canelo will KO Khan but you never know for sure until they fight. Khan has some lightning fast hands that could trouble them.
