I know Evander Holyfield was one of the first to use Creatine and he got F'd up because of it, he dehydrated in a fight and got some kidney problem or something he nearly died. They didnt know about the hydration part.

I do it myself all the time. I wouldn't shocked if he was juicing though. He got significantly muscular in a very short period of time.

So, it allows you to hit the gym harder and build muscle faster. Sure you will lose some size when you stop taking it but the muscle growth is real and you will keep it. It's a much more effective tool to getting to where you want than working out without it. I'm sure khan will stop taking it shortly and adjust his program to cutting weight. Sorry to hear about your issues with it. It's one of the only supplements that actually work. Most of that other stuff is garbage.
There's been far too much misinformation about kidney issues because it gives a false positive in kidney tests. Thus, docs started saying that it creates kidney problems and the rumor never died. If you're healthy and not drying out, it's not going to cause kidney problems.

Pacquao is an example of that and Bradley, these guys look soft when not fighting, but when they start training their muscles get fuller again.

The fact that guys on hard steroids will often still use creatine says something about how much it works.

I stopped taking Creatine when I started getting kidney pains off it that was 6 or 7 years ago. Doctor had told me to go off any supplement and go on a soup diet for weeks, the pain went away I put creatine back in and it came back after 4 days using it on a moderate dose.
Never used it again.
I also was a non responder, my friend on 12 pounds of weight mainly water retention and his muscles were looking pumped he looked bigger, I didn't retain any water.
I only take flavorless Whey with no additives or artificial sweetener.
