JoJo Diaz vs. Leo Santa Cruz? Who wins?

This would be a great Chicano vs Mexicano fight! Personally I think Diaz has the skill to UD Santa Cruz but I think he is a little to green right now. 1 or 2 more fights under his belt and I think he beats Santa Cruz, not easily but throughly. Hopeully GBP and Haymon could make this happen, Itd be a great staples center fight!

Anyways, do you think Diaz has the skill to beat Santa Cruz?

I like the match up personally. Jojo made a fan out of me on Saturday, and as a non Mexican, I would like it as a boxing fan. He's a cute little fighter, who defied type of being a head first brawler considering his height. Showed decent skills in my opinion and won me over between rounds 2-5. Didn't like the way Santa Cruz swerved Rigo, so I would be in Jojo's corner. The atmosphere would be dope all through out, so I say make the fight.

Don't ask me who wins though. I suck at predictions.

Yeah I agree, I liked Santa Cruz until the whole Rigo thing to, I think there was better ways of dealing with that but hes made his $ so I wont hate to much. But my thought is, that dude Kiko Martinez landed on LSC at will and he dont have the speed or angles JoJo does, so I think Diaz could pull it off given a little bit more experience.

Ehhhhh I edge it to LSC, I believe LSC has more pop than jo jo does, all those punches dont mean shit when you cant even make a dent.

Jojo has very little power. He was facing a mediocre fighter. Leo is on another level

I'm a big on JoJo but right now he is way too green. Needs at least another year kid just turned 23 and had his first real test this weekend. So only thing he is lacking for a fight like this is a little more experience. But based on his skill set if he were to fight Leo this time next year he will beat him. JoJo does not have 1 punch KO power but he's got decent pop but where he excels is in hand speed and counter punching which is all at a elite level. He's more skilled then Leo. Not sure he can knock him out but I can see him schooling him to a decision.

I think we still need to see more of Diaz at the level he just stepped up to as well as the higher level to get a better assessment.
Diaz has to work on his stamina. Leo is a workhorse, he can throw well over 100 punches a round without getting tired. That could potentially be a problem for Diaz.
I think Diaz is definitely more solid technically.
It will be an intriguing fight in like a year (or less depending on how they take Diaz from here).
