Well his dad is the only one in the corner giving him instructions, so I assume that his dad is his trainer.

Yeah, seems so bizzre that a top trainer would up and leave after one fight together and no one even reports it

Saunders already kicked his ass but I guess you don't want Saunders to be the future of the middleweights even though he is young and clearly better than Eubank. Hell, Eubank would just be easy KO victim number 22 in a row for GGG now and 5 years from now.

He still has a lot of development ahead as he's a novice pro, but he's got all the tools.

To be honest if he fought the midgetweights (cotto, alvarez) he'd knock them out. This is a big 6'0" man full sized middleweight with power and a granite chin, plus handspeed and skills, he'd be too much for them.

Golovkin would be a step too far right now but in 18 months, maybe we can see that fight.
People are sleeping on him, but Eubank Sr has done a ****-up job (outside of taking the Saunders shot) with moving along Chris Eubank Jr, especially for a young guy who was an amateur as late as 2009 and only turned professional in 2011 (debuted in 2007 as an amateur).

The one key point is keeping Eubank occupied and moving along in solid meaningful fights for the next 12-16 months; picking up the British title was a good move. Eddie Hearn has a decent crop of British 160s to work with; beyond that, the Saunders rematch and fights with Hassan N'Dam, Avtandil Khurtsidze, and Andy Lee are all interesting and can be made.

In 18 months, Golovkin is on his way to being 36, after an extensive amateur career; I need to see how he looks in the Wade fight, but I think Golovkin might be a year away from even Saunders being able to beat him.

A quick exercise; go to BoxRec's middleweight rankings (only just the top 20) and add two years onto everyone's age. On age alone, you likely drop 5 guys off of the list (due simply to the type of attrition that two years of boxing and weight-cutting could put on an older body)

Most importantly he delivers entertainment in the ring. Too many instances nowadays where people come away from boxing with negative feelings. That fight was on primetime and on a free network channel and he fought like a star should fight.

He's good, looking forward to seeing his continued progress. His character is smug and unlikeable but the ring action is high class. GGG is a dream match up.

Agreed- this is why I've always liked him, he came with a style fit for the pro's right from his debut. Entertaining, looking to put on a show and do damage in the process. He doesn't have huge power but he can fight inside and throws combinations, it's good to watch.

I've only seen Eubank jnr fight 4 times and one of those was this weekends tragic bout with Blackwell.
He always looks a class act, like his Dad.
His defence is getting better, his attack is scary, he has a hammer in each hand.
Not a sledge hammer, but then he's not a heavyweight, but the speed he brings to his combinations is truly fierce and that is where power comes from.
Styles make fights and Blackwells style was all wrong for this match up.
A more evasive fighter will cause Jnr more problems but he looks like he can knock over anyone in this division given the time to develop (2 years under his Dad's tutelage) and the right progression of fights.
This kid is a world beater in the wings and now he has a British title he is going to be able to attract the right opponents.
He's talented and he comes to fight.
                  He is entertaining.

I heard Adam booth left because of his arrogance. I don't see him aso the future of the division but he will make it interesting. His fights are entertaining and eubank senior just adds to it in between rounds. I prefer him over saunders who is crying about not being appreciated. Eubank junior could have beaten Andy lee for the world title in my opinion
