    Sergey's jab will kill Andre

I don't see Ward getting past that jab. It's not only rangy but it's a very hard jab, upstairs and downstairs. It's going to be very tough working around it, because forget working through it. I hope Andre plans on bringing more than he did tonight because he wouldn't last 8 rounds with what he showed against Barrera.

Well you would expect Ward to be thinking a lot more against Kovalev. More alert and cautious. He won't fight the same as he did tonight.

If he does fight like he did tonight and take jabs like he did, then he's in a world of trouble.

ANY LHW C level and up beats Ward. Barrera was a D- level fighter and still Ward couldnt get him out of there. And elite fighter like Kovalev absolutely destroys him.

Tonight just showed what I've always thought of Ward. A very good fighter, but he's no Hopkins or Jones like people try to act like he is. He's going to try to force his will on Sergey and will be beaten down in the process.

Ward's jab is better than Kova's.

I think Ward takes this fight in clear fashion, 9-3/8-4 kinda fight. Kova fights at a measured pace, he's not a pressure fighter and that means Ward will have time to think and execute what he wants to do.

Hopefully TR stop ****ing around with Gvozdyk and Mekhontsev cos I wanna see them boys mix it up with Ward and Kova.

I did not see an especially good jab from Ward tonight, and even against the short Abraham, Arthur's jab was bothering him early on until Ward started jabbing to the body - something of which Kovalev is very good at, but with a lot more power. Ward will not want to trade jabs with Kovalev.

Not that I disagree or agree but I see this sort of thread every single time, but when or if the fight happens then he wins easily it would be another thread about how he ran or clinch.
