Hopefully Ward can get a good name to come fight him next, would love to see him vs Fonfara, Stevenson, Eleider Alvarez, Juergen Braehmer(likely not fighting outside of Germany), Isaac Chilemba somebody like that next

Hey, did you notice..... it is strangely quiet for a Ward thread, did the Golovkin fans take a day off?

Did **** just get real, and a lot of boxingscene regulars suddenly realize that Ward can live with Kovalev ?

LMAO, everyone seems pretty confident that Ward will easily win all of a sudden, yet he "needs at least one or two more warm up fights before fighting Kovalev". Make it happen next, Killa Kov is cool with it, Ward just "doesn't know if the Kovalev fight will be next or not", he's going to leave it up to his team.

I'll tell you this much, Barrera wouldn't have lasted 6 rounds against Kovalev. This fight can't come fast enough......make it happen.

I'd love to see Ward vs Fonfara or Ward vs Braehmer next.

Fonfara is tougher and better prepares him for Kovalev at the end of the year but it would also be enjoyable to see Andre be the one to finally pull Braehmer's card.

Cedric Agnew went 7 with Kovalev, Hopkins 12, neither of these guys have the power Barrera have, none are as good.

The best actual LHW Kovalev has faced was Clevrerly who couldn't beat Stevenson's leftovers.

But they didn't fight any legit LHW's.

Pascal beat Bute to get a shot at Kovalev, and looked horrible in that fight. He also got his ass brutalized by a 1 dimensional brawler, Gonzalez.

Hopkins struggled mightily against Murat, then went on to beat Shumenov, a guy who needed a robbery for a W against Campillo.

Hopkins-Pascal have been on the decline for years, Ward showed he was a class above them back when they were actually good.

Beterbiev has more than a chance against Kovalev, Kovalev has never faced a body puncher like Beterbiev. If Pascal can land his wild shots against Kovalev, Beterbiev can land his short compact hooks.
