I thought Sullivan won the last 3 rounds

While Ward won it clearly, it seemed to me his roughest fight since Bika.

Maybe it was a bad stream.

11th and 12th were closeish......mostly because Ward threw like 15 punches.

The first 4 rounds were close other than the knockdown, but Ward got the timing down in the 5th and won a lot of consecutive rounds

I had it a draw. 7-5 for Ward maybe.

That was a close fight if you ignore the biased commentary teams.

That's what I thought as well. Barrera is slow but this wasn't the Ward against Froch, Kessler and Dawson. He ate a few jabs and in the later rounds when Barrera finally started throwing the uppercuts Ward looked in bad shape physically. Just look at him in the corner after round 9, 10, and 11. At one point I felt like the fatigue was getting the best of him and somehow Virgil convinced him otherwise.

Not playing the fan here, but when I stream Ward fights, then watch them back later in HD, it's amazing how many punches he actually slips, and how many he sneaks in right before moving. It's Mayweather-eqsue and unusual to see in a larger guy.

Ward definitely won round 12, landed some good right hands. But there was a lot of punches that Barrera landed that wasn't called HBO. I thought round 8 was 10-8 Barrera.

It's simply ring rust, he should look much more better in his next fight.

You should be embarrassed for saying that. It wasn't anywhere near close, no matter who you are rooting for. I has some Euro stream on and could still easily see that it wasn't close.

Ward landed one clean right hand in round 12 and Barrera landed maybe 4,5 body shots. They were all close rounds. Ward won the majority of them but he wasn't dominating like he dominated Kessler, Froch and Dawson.

I think Kovalev is quicker than Ward so he won't have a single advantage over Kov.
