Sad when respected fighters turn into jokes.
Entire careers come and go in the span of 6 years. It's pretty humbling to think about. That is an eternity for any sport, but compared to the rest of your life feels like the blink of an eye. It's easy to see why fighters have a hard time letting go.

They don't but Ward fans do. Acted like Barrera was a top tier boxer with just one 12 round fight. Ha!
Ward isn't fighting Kovalev this year either like many of you claimed.

Ward fans don't think that beating Barrera makes him great. He's got a real resume to fall back on so we don't have to grasp at straws in desperation.

Well you should read some posts from your fellow fanboys.

Beating Froch happened how many years ago?

Show me some fanboy posts where people are claiming Ward is the best just because he beat Barrera-type opponents.

And it doesn't matter how many years ago Froch or Kessler were, Ward can say he fought and beat the best. There are fighters who have gone their entire careers never having faced anyone near as good as those two...yet people will praise them and hype them while never giving Ward a lick of credit
