it depends on the father. if a kid is 50/50 black/white, we look at the dad. if the dad is white then kid is white if the dad is black then kid is black. simple.

Fair enough, I just don't see the point in penalizing Ward.. The guy is still an extremely elite top fighter, Kovolev is the only guy from 160-175 that has any chance of beating Ward..

That's all hypothetical. This extremely elite fighter went 9 boring rounds with a fat, out of shape Smith. I've seen guys in the domestic scene do better against Smith.

But, going off of what we saw circa 2011/12, a lot of people are still thinking Wrad is the same and rating him accordingly but that has nothing to do with what we have seen with him most recently.

Again, if he beats Kov, that can all change but to automatically plonk Ward in a p4p top 3, is to say the boxing world has not moved on since 2012 and that other fighters have not shown skills or achieved anything. That's plain wrong imo.
